A Creator's Responsibilities

1. Can you remember when you last copied, downloaded, or shared some type of creative work? What was the creative work?
- I cant remeber when but I copied a picture from google and put it as my background.
2. Can you think of a time when you used someone else’s work in something you made?

- I used it for a night project that I had to do for school.
1. Can you think of an example of piracy or plagiarism?
- Selling illegal movies to people.
2. What are Henry’s rights as a creator?
- He likes to make music and sing.
3. What are Henry’s responsibilities in using other people’s creative work?
- He has to ask for permission because it is pirating so he is praticaly stealing that persons work.
4. Henry says that pirating material is stealing, no matter how it’s done. What are examples of pirating? Why should you avoid it?
- When you copy a movie and put it on a CD even though it hasnt came out the movies yet and start to sell that CD.
5. Henry likes to make mash-ups and remixes and put them online. What does he need to do to make this “fair use”?
- He likes to get other people's videos and put them all in one video to make his own.
