Social Networks - Public Service Annoucement
It is about a young girl that takes pictures. When she tries to take them down she couldnt take them down and everyone seen them. A PSA is a commercial from the government and it stands for a public service anoucement. I learned that when you post pictures of yourself you cant take them down. People should learn that if they post bad pictures then it could effect them in the future.
The young girl is the target of the rumor going around or the picture. It is a very effective message to all teens in the society. No it has never happened to me ever in my life. I dont know anyone that has had a bad rumor about them. It has never happened to anyone I know.

Cyber Predators
Paraphrase : to restate something using other words, especially in order to make it simpler or shorter
Idea 1: You shouldt put your computer were they could get broken. Always place your computers in a location that other people could see what your doing. Some people should learn about technology.
Idea 2: You should teach your students and staff on how to interact on a student concern. One person is talking stuff that isnt true about somebody to other people. That can start to make students behave in a bad way.
Idea 3: Try to convince parents to go on google and search their students name. Also to visit the social networks that your parents use. Also they should see who they talk to on blogs and their friends. You could put some on private only for your friends to see. Some parents are concerned that they are invading there childs privacy.
Idea 4: You should put some of your time looking at a system that shows were most child molesters live and are. It helps you know were they are at so you dont have to worry if they live by you or not. It also lets you know if they live by a school or not.
Idea 5: There are more concerns about cyber preditors. Some colleges check on your social networks that you used to go one. They would check who you would talk to and they would look at your pictures too. They would look to see if they could find pictures of nudity, drinking, or any other pictures that are bad.

Bullycide
In the passage that I read that many poeple are be messed with because of who they like but they are being messed with on the internet. One person was putting another video on the internet that some guy in sexually active with the same gender as himself. People messed with guys to the point that they ended up killing themselves. I learned that people who are guy always get bullied because of their interests are different then other people either online or in face.
People should just mind therre buisness about other peoples interests in there sexual life. I think that it is their choice on who they like and what they do with those people. I think that people who mess with other people online are scared to tell people stuff in their face. I dont think it's right to bully people at all but expecually because of the sexual interests.

Taking Perspectives on Cyberbullying
1. Have you ever had a conversation with someone when you had a different point of view? What happened? How did you feel?
- Yes i have been in a conversation that we each think different. I ended up proving my point. I felt good after I proved my point.
2. Why is it important to understand someone else's perspective?
- Because you dont know what they been threw or their personal problems.
1. Are actions in an online community (like the slurs on the website) different than actions taken offline (like the notes left on Lyla’s locker at the school)? Why, or why not?
- No there not because they both are the same things but just are put in different places.
2. How are anonymous actions – like posting on a website or leaving a note – different from things done face-to-face?
- They dont want other people to know that it was them who told.
3. Imagine you were a bystander at this school, watching this situation unfold. What do you think you would have done? Do bystanders have a responsibility to do anything?
- I would of probably went up to the girl and talked to her. They can do something about it if they chose to

Private Today, Public Tomorrow
1. Why do you think things posted online tend to persist, even when you prefer they didn't?
-Because people could see everything you put.
2. What kinds of things might be good for your reputation in the future if they are posted online now? What kinds of things might be harmful?
- If you do something positive then it is good for you but if you do something bad then it could harm you.
1. Do you think Millersville University was justified in disqualifying Stacy from earning her teaching degree because of her profile page? Why, or why not?
- That wasnt a right choice to make because they dont even know what was in her cup,and she was not on the campus when she drank whatever was in the cup.
2. How would the situation be different if the context of the photo were taken into account? For instance: What if the caption of the photo was not “Drunken Pirate,” but “Happy Halloween” or “My friend forced me to wear this pirate hat”? What if a post accompanying the photo said that it had been taken at a child’s birthday party and Stacy was drinking punch?
- I think that they really wouldn't of cared.
3. What if Stacy’s friend Joe had posted the picture of Stacy without her knowing it, and tagged her with the “Drunken Pirate” caption. Does the fact that Joe posted the picture change the situation? Why or why not?
- I think yes , because she didnt have no idea that she would be one that was tagged in the photo and she wouldnt have taken it if she knew.
4. Does Joe have a responsibility to ask Stacy before he posts (and tags) a picture of her? Do other people, including strangers who come across the photo online, have the responsibility to check with Stacy before they tag or repost the photo? Why, or why not?
-Yeah he should of asked her before posting it. People are not going to care what they do but they should ask her cause its a picture of her.
-Because people could see everything you put.
